Winchester District Memorial Hospital

I was born at Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) 26 years ago. I completed my nursing consolidation here. Today I can proudly say I have been nursing for just over two and a half years on our inpatient Med/Surg unit dealing with a wide variety of adult patients. When I first started nursing here as a brand-new nurse, WDMH welcomed me with open arms.

WDMH provides a great place to work, away from larger urban centres. The redesigned layout and overhaul from ten years ago makes the hospital easy to navigate for staff and visitors. It is an asset to our community that a hospital like ours can provide such a variety of quality care and career opportunities in rural Eastern Ontario. I love working here and I am so proud to be a small part of our WDMH family.
