Are you a Registered Practical Nurse interested in assisting the community during COVID-19? Do you want to work in a department recognized as being well organized, efficient and compassionate by our community? We are currently accepting resumes to build a pool of qualified candidates for future opportunities at The TOH Assessment Centre. Who We Are The Ottawa Hospital is one of Canada’s largest learning and research hospitals, with more than 1,100 beds, approximately 12,000 staff members and an annual budget of about $1.2 billion. The TOH Assessment Centre is an out-of-hospital clinic where children and adults will be assessed by a health-care provider and tested for COVID-19 if required. The centre is operated in collaboration with The Ottawa Hospital and CHEO, serving the larger public health needs of Ottawa. Who You Are You are an experienced Registered Practical Nurse with a passion for people and a desire to make a difference. The work that you do at The Ottawa Hospital and The TOH Assessment Centre matters because you are key player on a team who is committed to providing each patient with an exceptional experience by demonstrating compassion, respect for all, a collaborative spirit and a commitment to quality. What You’ll Do You will welcome, screen and administer the test on all individuals entering the centre who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, signs and /or have recently travelled. Sounds like you?
