Position Information | ||
One of Canada’s largest teaching and research hospitals, The Ottawa Hospital (TOH or the Hospital) is a multi-campus, academic health sciences centre serving the 1.2 million residents of Ottawa and Eastern Ontario. TOH is looking to meet essential needs within the organization by adding to its Mechanical Systems Team.
TOH has over 4M square feet of building space that is a complex physical environment that requires a diversity of maintenance and upkeep. With a 1st class boiler plant, joining our team of stationary engineers will provide you with the foundation and experience to build your career. We offer comprehensive benefits and are members of the HOOPP pension plan, where employer contributions are 126% of employee contributions. This position may qualify for relocation reimbursements.
The annual salary is based on a 40 hour work week. |

Rotation/Shifts | ||
Days, Monday to Friday 8 hours shfits (07:30- 15:30) |

Salary Information | ||
The hourly rate includes a $4.50 market premium. |

Responsibilities | ||
As a Building Equipment Operator (BEO) you will be responsible for the inspection, operation, testing and maintenance of physical plant equipment including: HVAC, chillers, diesel generators, air compressors and pneumatic tube systems. |
