Résumé des responsabilités
Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager, Diagnostic Imaging, you share your expertise with diagnostic imaging trainees and provide them with instruction and extensive training.
Your key responsibilities are:
– Teach and review the different medical imaging techniques
– Develop, correct and evaluate practical and theoretical exams
– Follow up with colleges on evaluations
– Perform self-assessments of medical imaging quality
– Develop and update the academic program
Relations with others:
– Participate in external committees as required
– Interact with staff, students, patients and physicians
– Collaborate with the University Affairs Branch and colleges
Profil et expérience
• A minimum five (5) years of experience as a diagnostic imaging technologist
• A college diploma (DEC) in medical radiation technology
• Experience with the PACS system
• Active membership in the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) and a registration certificate, depending on the field of specialty of the position
• Active membership in the Canadian Association of Medical Radiological Technologists (CAMRT)
• Compliance with the ethical prescriptions of their professional order for teaching and research
