Who We Are The Ottawa Hospital is one of Canada’s largest learning and research hospitals, with more than 1,100 beds, approximately 12,000 staff members and an annual budget of about $1.2 billion. As a multi-campus hospital affiliated with the University of Ottawa, we deliver specialized care to the Eastern Ontario region, but our techniques and research discoveries are adopted around the world. Our Facilities Department is made up of approximately one hundred skilled employees who are responsible for the safe, efficient, and continuous operation, inspection, and maintenance of all our building systems and related equipment. The dedication and daily efforts of our Facilities Team ensures that TOH is able to offer a safe and clean high-quality functional environment to all our patients, visitors, students, and staff. Who You Are You are a qualified certified professional in a specialized Trade, or a Stationary Engineer in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th class. You have 3 to 5 years of experience in your field and good problem-solving skills. Your compassion, respect for others, commitment to quality, and collaborative spirit set you apart, and you are excited by the idea of being a key player on a team dedicated to providing excellence in patient care.
