The Human Resources Analyst provides technical and operational guidance to stakeholders in order to maintain and evolve existing processes while aligning systems and technologies with business objectives and requirements.
This position is also responsible for implementing changes and enhancements to the Human Resource system and for leading HR process automation projects.
In addition, the analyst will play a key role in the selection and implementation of a new integrated human capital management system.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Administration, Computer Science and/or other related fields
Qualifications
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
• In-depth knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
• Thorough understanding of Human resources and human resources policies
• Ability to understand data tables and how modules within a system are linked and understand downstream effects of changes.
• Basic programming skills (SQL, PowerBI)
• Presentation skills, reports, dashboards, visualizations
• Analytical skills – research, statistics, quantitative
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• Very good knowledge of a unionized work environment and its specifics;
• Good interpersonal and relationship building skills;
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in French and English
