Summary of Responsibilities
As a registered nurse, you will oversee the delivery of professional nursing care to a patient or group of patients in accordance with evidence-based nursing practice. You will ensure a therapeutic and professional relationship by working with the patient, loved ones and members of the interprofessional team to plan, implement and assess the patient’s care while respecting his or her needs, values and beliefs.

Profile and Experience
• Valid Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario;
• Valid certificate in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), basic rescuer level (C);
• Bilingualism (French/English), intermediate level.
Candidates will be considered based on their profile and experience, in the following order:
• First: candidates with one (1) year of experience in critical care (intensive care/intermediate care)
• Second: candidates with three (3) months of experience in critical care (intensive care/intermediate care) and/or in Emergency
• Third: candidates with one (1) year of experience in active care and who have passed the selection examination.
Conditions:
• The candidate must attend the orientation/training to become versatile in the different sectors. If the candidate has not taken the course on coronary care, he or she agrees to do so within one year. If the candidate has not taken the ACLS course, this must be done within 6 to 12 months.
