As a psychologist at the Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation Centre, you will provide clinical care to individuals with physical disabilities. Clinical responsibilities include psychological assessment, consultation and treatment . You will be part of an accomplished, collegial and vibrant group of Psychology staff, who are actively involved in clinical service, research, teaching and training. TOH Psychology has an accredited predoctoral internship program in Clinical Psychology. TOH Psychologists have academic appointments with the School of Psychology at the University of Ottawa, supervise practicum and honours students and teach one of teach one of two graduate courses in the School. Some Psychologists also hold other academic appointments at the University of Ottawa and elsewhere. Psychologists are provided opportunity to participate in professional development opportunities, including TOH Psychology Lunch and Learn activities. Early career psychologists at TOH can participate in a mentorship group. As highly valued members of TOH, Psychologists are involved in corporate initiatives such as patient and family engagement and staff wellness and support. |
