Registered Practical Nurses – Med/Surg/Ortho/CCP/ILTC – 2x Permanent Part-time (0.4), & Casual

Nurse

KDH is currently looking for two RPNs, Med/Surg/Ortho/CCP/ILTC, to join the team on a Permanent Part-time (0.4) and casual basis. The successful candidates will share the KDH commitment to Patient and Family Centred Care. In addition to having a current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and excellent communication skills (verbal & written), successful RPN candidates will have the following skills and qualifications:

Current BCLS certificate;
Recent Medical, Surgical, Gerontology experience;
Recent orthopaedic (total joint replacement) experience (preferred);
Basic Computer Knowledge.

Shift Rotation: days, evenings, nights, weekends – 8 and 12 hour shifts

Starting Wage: $30.32 or past experience recognition as per Schedule A of the Local IUOE Collective Agreement

Please note: In order to work in a healthcare facility, the Public Hospitals Act 1990, Regulation 965 requires all employees to provide proof of up-to-date immunization/vaccines for the following diseases: Tuberculin Skin Testing (TB), Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/Diphtheria (DTap), Influenza (during flu season) and three COVID shots. This proof must be provided to our Occupational Health Office in order to be cleared to work.
