The Ottawa Hospital Business Solutions team has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with a business application oriented background and strong leadership and analytical skills.   The team primarily focuses on support, enhancements and upgrade to the Oracle Peoplesoft HCM suite of applications.  Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources Business Systems, the Senior Systemns Analyst primary responsibilities are:

• To assist the business analysts in the design of solutions by providing conceptual advices and developing proof of concepts;
• To develop efficient, robust, and stable modules, reports and interfaces to support specific business needs of the hospital and its partner organizations;
• To perform development tasks related to application patches and upgrades;
• To provide functional and technical application support (i.e. troubleshooting, analysis and resolution of system and data problems).

• Community College or University in Computer Science or Business Administration;
• Minimum of six (6) years work experience in a Peoplesoft development environment;
• Design/development experience with PeopleTools 8.58 or above and Peoplesoft HCM release 9.2;
• Experience in using Peoplesoft Fluid Development Tools;
• Experience with Peoplesoft PUM applying patches and system upgrades;
• Significant experience and expertise with HCM Peoplesoft modules;
• Strong organizational, communication (oral and written), interpersonal, leadership skills;
• Experience in full software development cycle with the use of application implementation methodologies such as Oracle’s AIM, Compass or OUM;
• Experience providing functional and technical application support (ie. troubleshooting, analyzing and resolving user problems).

• Experience in any of the following Peoplesoft applications: Workforce Admin, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition Management, Enterprise Learning Management;
• Past experience in large-scale HCM systems implementations.
