The Ottawa Hospital Business Solutions team has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic ORACLE eBusiness Financials and Supply Chain Senior Systems Analyst with a business application oriented background and strong leadership and analytical skills.   The team primarily focuses on support, enhancements and upgrades to the Oracle eBusiness suite of applications.  Reporting to the Manager of Oracle eBusiness Systems, the Senior Systems Analyst primary responsibilities are:

• To develop efficient, robust, and stable modules, reports and interfaces to support specific business needs of the hospital and its partner organizations;
• To assist the business analysts in the design of solutions by providing conceptual advices and developing proof of concepts;
• To provide functional and technical application support (i.e. troubleshooting, analysis and resolution of system and data problems).
• To perform business systems application testing related to application patches and upgrades.

• Community College or Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration;
• Solid business background with a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years work experience in an enterprise business systems environment;
• Extensive experience defining and gathering user requirements, business process definition and mapping, and gap analysis;
• Experience providing functional and technical application support (i.e. trouble shooting, analyzing and resolving user problems);
• Experience in solution design, test scenarios and scripts definition;
• Experience scripting SQL to perform data queries and analyze data;
• Experience training co-workers and clients;
• Experience leading components of information systems projects;
• Ability to provide support within a team to ensure 24/7 responsiveness of the Supply Chain, including Financials in a highly integrated environment
• Experience performing system testing in support of critical patch updates and application upgrades;
• Comprehensive configuration knowledge in at least two of the following eBusiness R12 modules: Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, Accounts Payable, Warehouse Management;
• Experience in full software development life cycle with the use of application implementation methodologies such as Agile, Oracle’s AIM, or OUM ;
• Strong organizational, communication (oral and written), interpersonal, leadership skills.

• Experience in any of the following Oracle eBusiness R12 applications: General Ledger, Cash Management, Accounts Payable, iExpense, Purchasing, iProcurement, Accounts Receivable, Order Management, Inventory, Mobile Supply Chain and Warehouse Management; 
• Past experience in large-scale ERP Financial and Supply Chain systems implementations.
